DopeSwagYolo

// about

An incubator of information about technology.

DopeSwagYolo gathers credible information about fast-moving technology, credits it to the people who produced it, and puts it where anyone can find it.

What this site is

DopeSwagYolo is a place to follow technology without having to guess what is true. It collects reporting, research papers, official documents and company filings on subjects such as AI, chips, robotics, space and energy. It turns them into pages that say what is known, when it was known and who said it.

It is for anyone. Nothing here is for sale. There are no products, no subscriptions and no place to donate, and the site is not run to make a profit. The aim is simpler than that: information this important should be known and seen.

What you will find here

  • News: our own articles explaining a topic or a development. This is the one part of the site that is our writing.
  • Trackers: dated timelines that follow one story, such as AI model releases or the race back to the Moon, with a source for every entry.
  • Glossary: plain-language definitions of the terms the news depends on.
  • Organizations and Countries: profiles of who is building the technology and where each country stands.
  • Sources we cite: every document the site relies on, grouped by the organization that owns it.

Everything outside the news articles is compiled from other people's work. We summarize it in our own words, link to the original and name its owner. We do not republish it.

How the pages are made

AI does the research and the writing, and a second AI checks the facts against the sources. No person reviews a page before it is published. We would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise, and it is the reason every page lists its sources: so you can check the work yourself. The full process, and its limits, are on How we verify.

Who is behind it

The people who run DopeSwagYolo are not named, by choice. The site is not about them. Judge it by its sources.

What it does not offer

There is no way to contact the site, leave a comment or send in a correction. If that changes, this page will say so. How errors are handled in the meantime is explained on Corrections.
